Woman gunned down for putting up resistance in robbery incident

RAWALPINDI: (Parliament Times) A woman has been shot dead by robbers for putting up resistance in a robbery incident within jurisdiction of RA Bazaar police.

One Amna Bibi 50 was on her way to home with her husband on Tulsa road Kausar Colony after obtaining bonds worth Rs 100000 from state bank and in the meantime some robbers chased the both and tried to snatch purse from her when she reached close to her home. Both wife and husband put up resistance and the dacoits opened fire on them leaving Amna Bibi critically injured. She was rushed to hospital but she succumbed to injuries.
According to elementary report, the dacoits used motorcycle without bearing any No plate.

Police have registered case and started investigation.
