Srinagar: A delegation of JKPL led by chairman Mukhtar Ahmad Waza, executive member APHC,on Sunday morning visited the family of Pinky Kour, who was killed in a grenade blast at Bus Stand Tral, to offer condolences and solidarity with the bereaved family.
The delegation included members Nisar Ahmad Rather, Shija ul Islam, Zahoor Ahmad Waza, Aijaz Ahmad and many others.
Mr Waza told the family that entire Kashmir stood with the family in this time of grief and asked them to be patient in these testing times.
While condemning the retributive policies of the state, Waza told the gathering that Kashmiri voices can not be repressed by military might. He said that Kashmiris were giving sacrifices for a just cause.
Waza also condemned the inhumane acts of forces and added that such acts were not only dictatorial but were also undemocratic and voilated basic moral codes of humanity.
Waza was of the opinion that Kashmir dispute needs to be resolved once for all. He asked the Govt of India to have a peaceful listening to the people of Kashmir who does not want the bloodshed to continue in Kashmir. He said that Govt of India must involve Kashmiris and Pakistan to find a peaceful solution to this very issue as per the aspirations and wills of Kashmiris.
Kashmir resolution will ensure peace and prosperity both in the sub continent and in the South Asia.
