Former Pakistan captain and head coach Waqar Younis has lauded chief selector Inzamam-ul-Haq for selecting young talent for the team’s ongoing tour to the West Indies.
The former fast bowler took to Twitter to praise Inzamam for “doing the job which other selectors were reluctant to doâ€.
“Delighted 2 c Inzamam doing the job which other selectors were reluctant 2 do. Picking young players! Shadab, Hassan, Rumman,†Waqar tweeted.
Pakistan defeated West Indies by seven wickets in the fourth and final T20 on Sunday, guided by match-winning performances by Hassan Ali and Ahmed Shehzad. The Green Shirts finished the series 3-1 and will next play the hosts in the three-match ODI series starting April 7.
