Bangladesh world number one all-rounder and icon of Dhaka Dynamites Shakib Al Hasan attended the Players Draft with other dignitaries of Dhaka Dynamites, Head Coach Khaled Mahmud Shujon and Chief Executive Officer Obaid Nizam.
Star studded Dhaka Dynamites enrolled pacer Abu Hider Rony, spinner Saqlain Sajib in the team during the players’ draft.
Global stars like Kumar Sangakkara, Shane Watson, Shahid Afridi, Mohammad Amir and Kevon Cooper have been previously enlisted in Dhaka Dynamites’ team.
After the end of the players’ draft, head coach Khaled Mahmud Shujon expressed his high wish to hold the championship title once more.
“We want to be champion again,†he said.
“When you pick up a team to chase the title, you have to keep some options in hand. One or two good performers might be missed somehow in the midst of the tournament. It is necessary to retain some alternatives. We have taken a number of foreign cricketers in that regard,†said Khaled Mahmud.
Dhaka Dynamites’ CEO also expressed his hopes to clinch the title once again this season.
