Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The President of Pakistan Peoples’ Party (Kashmir chapter) Ch. Latif Akbar along with other party leaders has arrived in Multan to take part in the PPP’s forthcoming public rally to be held in the city of saints on 15th of December.
Earlier, the PPP president while addressing a luncheon hosted in his honour by PPP leader from Chechawatni expressed the hope that Kashmiris settled in Multan and its suburbs will attend the rally in huge numbers. “I’m optimistic that Kashmiri migrant community settled in Multan, Chechawatni, Sahiwal, Khaniwal and other areas will attend the rally with same spirit and passion as people of AJK and migrant community settled in twin cities Rawalpindi and Islamabad showed on 5th of December by according a warm welcome to the PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari at parade ground in Islamabad”, Akbar said adding that the Multan rally will be a historic show of power.
Kashmiri migrant community he said would play an important role to make the event a success.
