Spokesman condemns ‘baseless campaign’ against AJK govt

Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) A spokesman of AJK government on Wednesday strongly condemned what he called unfunded and baseless propaganda by media cell of Pakistan People’s Party against the state. The spokesman claimed that six month performance of the government is unprecedented in history of Azad Kashmir as AJK government headed by Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan has adopted excellent strategy for strengthening Kashmir liberation struggle, development of AJK and upholding the rule of law soon after taking power in the state.
He added that three point priority of the Prime Minister have provided strong basis for the good governess in the state which could be highly beneficial for the coming generation of the people of Azad Kashmir. Commenting on the so-called facts sheet released by PPP media cell, the spokes man said that political orphans are engaged in spreading rumors against the government to get political mileage though negative elements in the media. The spokesman called upon the media organization to take action against the journalists being used by the political parties. Enumerating the achievements of the government in last six month, the spokesman said that dissolution of Public Service Commission for ensuring merit, decision of the government to recruits teachers through National Test Service (NTS) imposing ban on distribution of Zakat funds among the political favorites, historical health package, constitution of high level committee for constitutional reforms protection of the resources of Kashmir Liberation Cell, launching of one billion community infrastructure program, efforts of Prime Minister to get enhanced share of AJK in the national finance commission award are some of the successes of AJK government.
