Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) Directorate of Social Welfare Department Rawalpindi has issued instructions to the Management of Social Welfare Department in districts of Rawalpindi division including Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal and Rawalpindi to increase the number of beneficiaries of District Industrial Homes by improving the quality of work and expanding admissions.
In this connection a meeting was held in Rawalpindi under the chairmanship of Director Social Welfare & Bait ul Maal Rawalpindi Muhammad Aslam Maitla. The meeting was attended by Deputy Directors and Social Welfare Officers.
Muhammad Aslam Maitla directed that provincial government is committed to provide maximum opportunities of vocational training to women so that they could become self reliant. He said that special focus would be laid on new admissions in all skill oriented courses being conducted in District Industrial Homes and the standard of training should also be improved by encouraging experienced and qualified trainers.
The participants of the meeting presented various suggestions to improve the performance of District Industrial Homes by promoting the facilities for the masses. Muhammad Aslam Maitla asked Social Welfare Officers to manage maximum order work for trained students so that they could get proper earning after completion of skill development training.
