Sheikhupura: Nearly 4,000 Sikh yatris from Canada, England, America Indian and other European Countries would reach Pakistan to celebrate 9 –day long rituals of birth anniversary of their spiritual leader Baba Guru Nanak.
According to media reports, Sikh Yatris will reach Pakistan on November 1st via Wagah Border to participate in religious rituals at different religious places located in Nankana Sahab, Sheikhupura, Gujranwala, Narowal, Hasan Abdal and others.
DPO Sheikhupura, Sarfaraz Khan Virk while giving final look to fool proof security arrangements in Gurdwara Sacha soda Farooq Abad has issued security plan.
However, deputy commissioner Irqam Tariq also directed district administration officers to provide every facility to Sikh yatris including, cleanliness, generator, electricity and other facilities during rituals.
Additional SP Shehbaz Illahi, Assistant Commissioner Khurram Shehzad Bhatti and other officers will supervise the duty.
