Islamabad: Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan announced to make two new sub-divisions in district Kotli AJK.
PM AJK announced this while talking to Member AJK legislative assembly Raja Naseer Khan at Kashmir House Islamabad here on Wednesday. Pertinently, the two sub-divisions namely Sarsawa and Tatta-Pani will be carved out of the southern district Kotli.
Speaking on the occasion Raja Farooq Haider said,”Work on Sehensa Grid station will be started soon, we want to facilitate our people”. PM AJK said that incumbent government was streamlining its resources to provide facilities to the masses at their door step.
“Prime Minister Community Infrastructure Program is laying developments all around AJK especially in Kotli and backward areas in AJK are now getting basic facilities”, he added. Prime Minister AJK reiterated that his government was focusing on three main goals that included Kashmir Freedom Movement, Good Governance, and development.
He said that government was trying to achieve these goals with full potential and strength. PM also expressed his satisfaction over the development work being carried in in Raja Naseer Khan’s constituency.
Raja Naseer Khan on the occasion said that being one of the largest populated district of AJK, carving out two sub-divisions from Kotli district were indispensable. The PM approved the demand of MLA on the spot and also assured him that work on Grid station will be started this year. The MLA expressed full satisfaction and confidence over the leadership of PM AJK and thanked him for the approvals.
