Reply to me UN must implement its resolution on Kashmir: PM AJK

Islamabad: Prime Minister AJK Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that PM Pakistan Shahid Khaqan Abbasi’s bold and realistic speech at the UNGA session in New York was a true reflection of the sentiments of Kashmiri people saying that Pakistan’s efforts to project Kashmir cause at international level are highly appreciable.

Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that Prime Minister Pakistan took a bold stance on Kashmir issue. “It will help to gain favour for our self right to self-determination internationally”, he said.

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said,” Shahid Khaqaan Abbasi presented the facts about Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir and ceasefire line violations to international community besides exposing Indian conspiracies.”

Prime Minister reiterated that a special mission to monitor recent atrocities in Indian occupied Kashmir is indispensable. He said that if UN ignored this issue then situation may become even worst. Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that Indian army violated the ceasefire agreement along line of control around 600 times resulted in many casualties and injuries.

PM AJK said,” India has shut down the dialogue process and finding out the escape paths, aggression in occupied Kashmir is part of their strategy to skip peace and dialogue process.”

Raja Farooq Haider Khan said that PM Pakistan emboldened the spirit of Kashmiri by his stance and gave a new dimension to Kashmir freedom of movement. “Last year, Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif also mentioned Shaheed Burhan Wani in his speech, and this year’s speech is the continuation of that commitment, we are thankful to PM Pakistan for raising the issue of Kashmir vociferously at the UN”, PM added.

He said that India can not keep Kashmiris as her slave for long; they have already sacrificed their millions of lives for this right of self- determination. Prime Minister AJK demanded that United Nation should implement its resolutions on Kashmir issue and any kind of further delay will pose hazards to peace in the region.
