KARACHI: Rangers stopped Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) chief Farooq Sattar’s car late Wednesday near Do Talwar, Clifton as it carried out snap-checking in various parts of the city.
The MQM-P leader was let go after his car was searched.
During various operations in the city by law enforcement agencies several suspects were detained including 10 Afghan nationals for having incomplete documents.
At least three Afghan nationals were arrested under the Foreign Act from New Karachi for having incomplete documents.
At FB Industrial Area police arrested nine people including seven Afghan nationals.
