ISLAMABAD: Supreme Court (SC) has issued written order in respect of hearing of Faizabad Interchange case held on Thursday.
The court remarked’ “according to ISI report dharna walas have political motives. The protestors are directed to act upon injunctions of the Holy Quran. Islam is a religion of peace and it teaches the lesson of peace. The protesters are acting contrary to the teachings of Holy Quran.
It was further said in the order that it is not necessary that way of violence be pursued to end dharna. The protestors subjected the police to violence. An innocent child died due to non availability of medical treatment.
It was stated in the court’s orders the attorney general told that the protestors did not seek legal permission for holding protest demonstration. They used foul language against the judges on court’s November 21 orders. Government should get translate court’s orders into Urdu and deliver it among the demonstrators in large number.
The court while seeking the progress report till November 30 from the government on removing the protestors from Faizabad Interchange adjourned the hearing of the case.
