ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Husain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi have expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Air Marshal retired Asghar Khan.
Political leadership has paid glowing tributes to Asghar Khan for his services to the Nation.
Chief of Army Staff, General Qamar Javed Bajwa and Chief of Joint Staff General Zubair Mehmood Hayat expressed their grief on sad demise of ex Air Chief, Air Marshal Asghar Khan, Retired. The army chief noted, “An iconic soldier who will be remembered for his historic contributions for laying foundations of a strong Pakistan Air Force. May Allah bless his soul-Amen.”
Chief of the Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman also paid tribute to Asghar Khan and said that he played a key role in making PAF a modern Air Force.
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI ) Chairman Imran Khan has expressed grief over the demise of Asghar Khan and lauded his services for the Pakistan Air Force (PAF).
