Quetta: (Parliament Times) AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan on Tuesday arrived in provincial metropolitan Quetta on three day visit. Provincial Ministers and Kashmiris settled in Quetta and other parts of the province warmly received the president.
AJK President was brought from Airport to Governor House in big cavalcade of vehicles. Governor Baluchistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai received the president at the entrance of the Governor House. Later he held a detailed meeting with Governor and discussed prevailing situation in Kashmir, overall political situation in the country, development matters of Baluchistan, expected benefits of China Pakistan Economic Corridor for the province of Baluchistan and others matters of mutual interest.
Speaking on the occasion, Governor Baluchistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai said we should strive hard to take benefit from rapidly changing political and economic situation at national and international level and expressed his confidence that Baluchistan will be the biggest beneficiary of CPEC project.
AJK President told the Governor that people of Jammu and Kashmir are struggling for their right to self determination under relevant UN resolutions. He said India is fanning terrorism in Baluchistan, Karachi and others parts of the country after failure to crush freedom movement of Kashmiri people. He said Indian is trying to prevent Pakistan from supporting the legitimate struggle of Kashmiri people for their right to self determination by waging a covert war.
The Governor Baluchistan Muhammad Khan Achakzai assured full support to Kashmir liberation struggle on behalf of Baluch people and said Kashmiris have every demand a free and fair plebiscite to decide their future.
Meanwhile talking to office bearers of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Quetta
Azad Jammu and Kashmir President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) Project will prove as prelude in bringing revolutionary changes in trade and economic progress in the region.
AJK President said that Balochistan will become a hub of trade and economic activities after the completion of on-going CPEC and Gwadar Deep Sea Port mega projects.
Sardar Masood Khan added that Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir do have great significance in the CPEC mega project.
