Faisalabad: Pakistan Nutrition and Dietetics Society (PNDS) while expanding its outfits has launched its Faisalabad Chapter at University of Agriculture, Faisalabad with Dr. Benish Israr as Incharge. The society is currently carrying out its operations from Karachi, vowing to start its further activities from University of Agriculture Faisalabad.
Dr. Kamran Sharif will be the co-chair of the society at Faisalabad Chapter while Ms Hira Iftikhar and Ms Sana Arif shall perform the duties of continuous nutrition education and membership respectively. President Pakistan Nutrition and Dietetics Society Ms Fayza Khan and Incharge of the Faisalabad Chapter Dr. Benish Israr inked the memorandum of understanding. The core objectives of the agreement and launching PNDS at Faisalabad are to sensitize the masses about nutrition thereby to enable them take care of their nutritional needs.
Dean Faculty of Food, Nutrition and Home Sciences Prof. Dr. Masood Sadiq Butt, DG National Institute of Food Science & Technology Prof. Dr. Tahir Zahoor and other notables were also present in the launching ceremony.
