ISLAMABAD: Commander of Sri Lankan Army Lt General A.W.J De Silva called on Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Wednesday.
Expressing satisfaction over the level of existing cooperation between Pakistan and Sri Lanka, the Prime Minister reemphasized for further strengthening the defence related cooperation between the two countries.
The Prime Minister said that Pakistan and Sri Lanka need to enhance cooperation in various fields and work jointly for achieving regional peace and stability.
The Commander of Sri Lankan Army thanked the Prime Minister for the warm welcome extended to him during his visit to Pakistan.
