ISLAMABAD: (Parliament Times) President Mamnoon Hussain has said Operation Raddul Fassad will completely crush extremism and terrorism in the country.
He was addressing the officials of Quetta Command and Staff College in Islamabad on Friday.
The President said the armed forces have played an important role to address the problem of lawlessness in Balochistan.
Mamnoon Hussain said CPEC project will immensely benefit Balochistan province. He said the Gwadar port will help create many job opportunities for the local people.
Mamnoon Hussain said inclusion of Diamer Bhasha Dam project in CPEC will ensure the timely completion of Dam which will help overcome water and power shortage in the country.
He said successful holding of Economic Cooperation Organization conference in Islamabad is a success of Pakistan’s foreign policy.
He said despite many challenges Pakistan is now heading in the right direction with vast opportunities in different realms.
The President appreciated the role of Pak Army in restoring law and order in Balochistan.
He said our armed forces, law enforcement agencies, and civil administration have rendered relentless services in addressing the challenges of terrorism and lawlessness.
He commended the role of Command and Staff College, Quetta in imparting quality strategic training to officers of Pak Army and those from the allied countries. He hoped that training will prove beneficial for the trainee officers in utilizing their abilities and potential in the service of the motherland.
