Muzaffarabad: Speaker AJK legislative assembly Shah Ghulam Qadir said that Govt. of AJK is spending 200 million in Neelum to promote tourism in valley.
Shah Ghulam Qadir said that Ratti Gali Lake is eye catching of tourism in the valley. To maintain natural beauty of the Lake he said,” Neither we will allow any kind of construction near the Lake nor will this land be given on lease to anybody.”
Speaker said that washrooms and umbrellas will be planted near Ratti Gali Lake to protect tourists from sun rays. Police check post and first aid facility will also be made possible to ease tourism.
During a discussion with some journalists in central press club speaker said that PPP made fool the masses by announcing education package.Shah said that he observed in his constituency that on the basis of just 2 lecturers a degree college was announced and on many places there was not any land acquired for college but announcement by the past rullers was made with full zest and zeal without even the provision of teachers.
He said,” If government abolished education package through legislation then no teacher will be fired.” The speaker responded on a question asked by this correspondent that reconstruction of AJK Assembly building is awaiting an administrative approval, said, “I have met PM Pakistan on this issue and he assured me that this work will be started soon.”
Speaker reiterated that all Muslim countries should review their diplomatic policies with Myanmar on the massacre and genocide of Muslims. Shah Ghulam Qadir also said that local body elections will be conducted soon after the landmark of union councils and wards.
Senior journalists Sajjad Mir, Raja Shujaat, Wahid Iqbal Butt, Zulfiqar Butt, Ibrar Haider, Wajid Khan, Syed Ahsan, Fida Hussain,Tasawur Kazmi and others were present during the discussion.
Speaker said that Tender for the construction of Express way from lower topa to Kohala will be published soon and two divisions of AJK will also be facilitated by this road.
