Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Managing Director, National Book Foundation (NBF) Dr. Inam Ul Haq Javeid leaves for Turkey to attend the meeting for discussion on the possible joint nomination of Mawlana Roomi’s Kuliyat to UNESCO Memory of World International Programme. He will be the representative of Pakistan in the special session to be held in the city, Antalya of Turkey on 25th November. This event is being held in the memory of World Legend, International fame great Thinker, Poet and Scholar,Mawlana Jalal Ud Din Roomi. This event will be consisted of three sessions to discuss the manuscript of Kulyata Roomi and enhancing cooperation within the framework of the Memory of the world Programme. The large number of researchers and scholars of different countries are participating to discuss the work and thought of Mawlana Roomi in the larger perspectives. This is the interchanging cultural and literary programme within the framework of UNESCO and Islamic brotherly countries. They will get together in order to celebrate the event in the memory of Legend poet of Turkey, Mawlana Jalal Ud Din Roomi. He was the pioneer of Sufism and worked a lot in the field of Fiqa, comparative studies of religions and poetry. His memorable work in Poetry named as MASNAVI MAWLANA ROOMI. Our National Poet, Allama Iqbal was so inspired by him and called PIR-E-ROOMI to him.
