ISLAMABAD :(Parliament Times) A ruckus broke out in the National Assembly (NA) on Friday after Leader of the opposition Syed Khurshid Shah showed pictures of Malik Noor Awan with the members of ruling party Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N).
Abid Sher Ali and Mian Manan became furious over the photo and yelled slogans. They also indulged into a scuffle with Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) member Aijaz Hussain Jakhrani.
The speaker Ayaz Sadiq tried to control the situation but his efforts ended in futile.
It is pertinent to mention here that a man, identified as president of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Japan faction Malik Noor Awan stopped Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed outside the parliament on Thursday, alleging him of taking Rs2.2 million about 15 years ago as a loan to purchase a vehicle.
Khurshid Shah asserted in the assembly that he is fighting the case of parliamentarians whether he is Abid Sher Ali or Shiekh Rasheed.
He said that Malik Noor Awan entered the parliament after a pass formed over the reference of deputy speaker. Shah maintained that the entry pass was also made after the occurrence of the incident.
