Khan’s presence at dance event left Kashmiris’ heads hanging in shame: PPP

Islamabad: (Parliament Times) The President of Pakistan Peoples Party (Kashmir chapter) Ch. Latif Akbar has said that instead of projecting Kashmir cause the president of Azad Kashmir Sardar Masood Khan has inflicted a huge and irreparable loss to the noble cause by attending what he called as dance party at a local hotel in London.

“The incident has left Kashmiris’ heads hanging in shame”, the PPP president said while talking to reporters here on Monday. He said attending such kind of events was tantamount to insulting the highest post.

Terming it as highly irresponsible act on the part of AJK President, Akbar said that his party strongly condemns it believes that he was no longer fit for holding the respectable job as the president of Azad Kashmir. The PPP president said that the AJK president happens to be the custodian of the state and the constitution but it was quite unfortunate that the incumbent president has failed in upholding the sanctity of the post.

He said that the AJK president Sardar Masood Ahmed Khan undertook 7 foreign visits during the past 10 months but these visits have miserably failed to yield desired results
