Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, a civilian who was injured in the firing of Indian troops succumbed to his injuries in a hospital in Srinagar.
The victim identified as Muhammad Ayoub Mir was hit by a bullet in his abdomen when the troops opened fire on protesters during a cordon and search operation at Batmurran-Wanpora in Shopian on December 19, 2017. He succumbed to his injuries in a hospital in Srinagar, after battling for life for the last almost a month.
