Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the joint Hurriyet leadership held a protest demonstration rally at Jamia Masjid Hyderpora against the domicile certificates to the West Pakistan Hindu refugees, today.
In a joint statement issued in Srinagar the joint Hurriyet leaders said that issuing of domicile certificates to the West Pakistan Hindu refugees is an attempt to change the demographic fabric of the state and such nefarious designs will be fought with tooth and nail at every front and every level.
They hailed the steadfastness of the detainees in and outside the valley and said that authorities under a well thought conspiracy prolong their detention to avenge the pro-freedom people. They said that the prisoners are not released despite quashing their detentions by their own courts.
Participant of the rally said that investigating the pellet and bullet injuries on district level is a mockery and eyewash which has been going on here for the last seven decades but has failed to bring single culprits to justice.
Those leaders and activists who participated in protest rally including JKLF chief Mohammad Yaseen Malik, Gh Nabi Zaki, Haji Gh Nabi Sumji, Peer Saifullah, Sheikh Ab Rashid, Advocate Mohammad Shafi Reshi, Meraj u Din Kalwal, Mushtaq Ahmad Sofi, Siraj u Din, Mohammad Yousuf Mujahid, Ab Hamid Magray, Syed Imtiyaz Hyder, Ab Rashid, Mudasir Nadvi, Zahoor-ul-Haq, Ishfaq Ahmad Khan, Omer Aadil Dar and Rameez Raja.
