Srinagar : In occupied Kashmir, on the directives of Jammu and Kashmir Salvation Movement (JKSM) Chairman, Zafar Akbar Butt, the party leaders including Zulfikar Hameed, Maulana Rafiq, Imtiyaz Ahmad, Farooq Ahmad and Merajuddin held a peaceful protest at Press Colony in Srinagar against the continued human rights violation being committed by Indian forces.
The protesters talking to media demanded impartial probe into the killing of innocent people during the present people’s uprising.
The said even a single probe has not been ordered to punish the killers of innocent Kashmiris. They said that killings and torture could not weaken the freedom sentiment of the people of Kashmir.
The JKSM activists demanded release of all illegally detained Hurriyet leaders and activists languished in different jails and police stations and also appealed to the international community to draw attention towards the Kashmir dispute.
