AS the unrest in Indian Occupied Kashmir continues since July 8, 2016 subsequently the Indian frustrations and melodramas are also augmenting. To simply disregard their defilements in the IOK and to hoodwink the brutalities by their armed forces in Kashmir, they have found a new way of indicting Pakistan for cross border violations. Though the Indian forces have continuously violated ceasefire agreement in recent months and in past few weeks India has become habitual of firing across Line of Control and later putting all blame on Pakistan for initiation of exchange of fire along the border.Since the Post-Burhan Wani uprising in IOK and struggle by freedom fighters, Indian Army personnel are under severe mental pressure and feeldispirited. The situation is more traumatic for soldiers deployed particularly in forward location on the Line of Control. This particularly one can note from the hype created by Indian media on the name of surgical strike and later no proof of it was found. According to media sources, this mental stress is resulting in a number of suicides and obstinacy cases by Indian soldiers. Recently, inan incident on 28 Oct 2016 at Machil sector of District Kupwara, Indian soldier while arguing over Khalistan issue, with a Sikh soldier named Mandeep Singh was killed and later beheaded by Indian soldier. The matter which was reported to Director General of Border Security Force asked personnel to conceal the issue and assert that Mujahedeen from across the LoC had carried out this attack. This information was subsequently leaked to Indian media and later to cover up story Indian media in their newspapers blatantly blamed Pakistan for this incident. The Indian media showed its venom against Pakistan by raising reports in its media by highlighting this incident in words like; “Barbarism is a true reflection which pervades official and non-official organisations across the border. In a despicable act, the terrorist mutilated the body of an Indian Army soldier before fleeing into PoK, supported by covering fire from Pakistan army posts.†Indian media accusing Pakistan of cross border violations claimed in its media that, “This incident is bound to further escalate tensions along LoC and the international boundary in J&K. Since India carried out a surgical strike inside Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK) on September 28, more than 60 incidents of ceasefire violations have been reported.†Imagine height false reporting and bundle of lies that India completely ignores and smartly negates its atrocities in IOK and continues with blame game on Pakistan. Such incidents highlight Indian frustrations and its fear from Pakistan. Definitely reported occurrence shows pressure felt by Indian troops in IOK and the LoC is resulting in the surfacing of ethnic and religious fault lines. It is known fact that issue of Khalistan is on rise in India but as usual India is blind towards its domestic social issues and internal turmoil. Reportedly the Sikh soldiers serving in Indian army often scuffle over Khalistan and demand for their rights. India must remember that such sinister plans of defaming Pakistan and Kashmir cause will pay back. Pakistan will always support Kashmir freedom movement and India if ever tried to attack Pakistan by any means will be responded fully. Few days back India again violated LoC and Indian troops resorted to unprovoked firing in which seven soldiers of Pakistan Army embraced martyrdom. While Pakistani forces also responded to this Indian hostile action and targeted Indian posts effectively. Foreign Office Spokesman Nafees Zakaria while appreciating role of army said that, “Pakistan Army is responding in befitting manner. We salute our valiant soldiers who render ultimate sacrifices for national causeâ€. Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif while condemning Indian violations on LoC said that,
“We are fully capable of defending our soil against any aggression. Indian forces have resorted to escalating tension on LoC only to distract the world’s attention from the grave human rights situation in Indian occupied Kashmirâ€. PM further said that, “Indian forces have inflicted unspeakable atrocities against the unarmed and innocent people of IOK. There is an indigenous uprising against Indian occupation, and the Indian government is failing to read writing on the wall.â€
Frequent incidents of cross-border firing have been witnessed since a heightened situation in occupied Kashmir. In Kashmir, more than 100 protestors have lost their lives because of Indian army brutality in the valley while dozens blinded by use of pellet guns. According to Foreign Office of Pakistan, at least 26 civilians have been killed and 107 wounded in the last two months due to the Indian forces firing. India, on the other hand accuses Pakistan of being involved in an attack on an army base in Uri on September 18, in which 19 Indian soldiers were killed. Islamabad has negated such charges while Delhi maintains its stance without any ample evidences and enquiries. Indian troops have resorted to cross-LoC shelling several times since, most notably on the night of September 28 – the night India claimed its special forces carried out ‘surgical’ raids inside AJK. Pakistan criticised Delhi’s claims as a ‘farce’ aimed at pacifying right-wing elements in India.
With all such disturbance created by India along LoC and kind of frustrations prevailing in Indian army it must remember that such blame game is going to be disconcerting and embarrassing for India on all fronts. India had been the main hurdle to maintain regional peace and engages with its neighbour Pakistan by creating atmosphere of blame games, hostile statements and propaganda in order to malign Pakistan and serve its domestic agenda. Pakistan has never violated ceasefire agreement and ceasefire violations have always been misreported by Indian media and almost ninety percent of news run by Indian media is false and baseless just to mislead people and create more unrest just as case of mutilation of Sikh soldier by Indian BSF and later pitching all charge on Pakistan.
