MUZAFFARABAD: Indian forces have once again opened unprovoked fire at Pakistan’s Bhimber sector, the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Saturday.
According to ISPR, Indian troops targeted Tandar and Broh areas in Bhimber sector, however, no loss of life or property damage has been reported so far.
Pakistani troops have been targeting Indian posts in retaliation to the unprovoked firing and shelling in a befitting manner.
In order to divert attention from the indigenous freedom movement in Indian Occupied Kashmir, India has persistently embarked upon a series of provocative actions against Pakistan.
While Indian Army continues to undertake serious ceasefire violations along LoC and Working Boundary, Indian Navy was also caught deceitfully deploying its submarines against Pakistan with ulterior motives.
In a statement on Friday, Pakistan Navy spokesperson said that an Indian submarine was prevented from entering in Pakistani waters.
The unsuspecting Submarine was detected and localized South of Pakistani coast on 14 Nov 16. Thereafter, despite submarine’s desperate efforts to escape detection, it was continuously tracked by Pakistan Navy Fleet units and pushed well clear of our waters.
Earlier on Sunday, seven Pakistan soldiers were martyred in Indian forces’ firing in Bhimber sector, in what appeared to be an unusually high toll after months of surging tensions between the nuclear-armed neighbours.
Following the incident Pakistan had summoned the Indian High Commissioner to protest the killing of the soldiers.
“The Foreign Secretary asked the Indian High Commissioner to convey to his government that it must stop the provocative firing and observe the ceasefire. Pakistan is pursuing a policy of restraint, which should not be construed as a sign of weakness,” the statement said.
Recently, there have been repeated outbreaks of cross-border firing, with both sides reporting deaths and injuries including of civilians.
