Islamabad: (Parliament Times) Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs and Gilgit Baltistan Ch. Birjees Tahir has said that the incumbent government would complete its five year constitutional tenure besides accomplishing all development projects initiated under the vision of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
In a statement, issued here on Sunday Tahir said Pakistan has made an unprecedented economic development during the last four years. “In 2018 Pakistan will be completely different from that of 2013 in terms of peace, prosperity and development”, he said adding that PML-N had laid a solid foundation for a stable and prosperous Pakistan by fulfilling all its promises made with the people during previous elections. Ruling out any possibility of early elections in the country he said that those who keep harping on about early polls have no development agenda for the country. “Neither had they any development plan for the country nor do they have any interest in continuity of democratic process”, the federal minister said adding that for the continuity of democratic process in the country completion of full five year constitutional term for the government was imperative. He expressed the hope that the PML-N would emerge victorious in next elections due to its service delivery to masses.
The Minister said that a number of projects under China-Pakistan Economic Corridor are nearing completion. He said that the menace of terrorism has successfully been defeated in the country
