Islamabad : At least four suspects were arrested in a joint operation by federal police, Rangers and intelligence agencies in Islamabad and Illegal weapons, bullets and ammunition were recovered from them.
In line with sources, the house-to-house search was carried out in Dhernala and Keena Talhar.
During the search operation law enforcement agencies searched 95 houses and checked 175 suspected people and recovered two twelve round rifles, two pistols and ammunition .
Senior Superintendent of Police Sajid Kiyani said that the purpose of the search operation of suspected people in the jurisdiction of the police stations is just to maintain the law and order situation.
Sajid Kiyani said that such operations are conducted on the tip of intelligence agencies with the help of Rangers.
The arrested suspects have been shifted to police station where investigation is underway from them.
