The United Nations has warned that more than twenty million people are at risk of dying from starvation within six months due to famine in four countries.
In an interview, the UN World Food Programme chief economist, Arif Husain said these countries included Yemen, Nigeria, South Sudan and East Africa.
He said the famine in Yemen, northeastern Nigeria and South Sudan has been caused by wars while in East Africa it has been caused by drought.
