Brussels: The chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (EU) Ali Raza Syed has said that rather than getting swayed by India’s so-called democracy the European countries should influence upon India to stop killing innocent civilians in Kashmir.
Commenting on Indian premier Narendara Modi’s recent visit to EU countries including Germany, Spain and France, Ali Raza said that Modi’s continuous visits abroad were intended to divert world’s attention away from Kashmir.
He said that the reality was that the Indian occupation forces in Kashmir were engaged in gross human rights violations. He said, not only Kashmiris are being suppressed by Indian forces while New Delhi has also discriminated policies toward minorities in different parts of India.
He said that Narendar Modi’s government has adopted oppressive policies on Kashmir. He said that Modi led BJP government was not only involved in heinous crimes in Kashmir but minorities living in other states of India were being subjected to worst kind of violence and violent attacks. Raza was of the view that Indian government’s attitude was in contravention to the basic principles of human rights being observed all around the world.
Chairman of the Council Mr Ali Raza Syed said, “International community should open their eyes on the brutalities committed by Indian security forces in Occupied Kashmir and as well as the fascist policies of Modi’s government towards minorities and other oppressed segments of society in Indiaâ€.
“We strongly condemned Modi’s fascism particularly Indian brutalities against the people of occupied Kashmirâ€, Raza said adding that Kashmiris will continue their struggle against India.
He revealed that the human Right abuses in Indian Held Kashmir go with impunity and are backed by a dedicated political will by the Indian government. “This dedication and impunity granted by the state of India makes the head of the state responsible for crimes against humanity that should not be ignored by the civilized worldâ€, he said.
