Lahore : The Punjab government has announced to close the educational institutions of provincial capital Lahore for two days owing to worsen situation of law and order.
A private TV channel reported that provincial government has decided to close the educational institutions of the city for two days due to crackdown against the protest sit of Tehreek-e-Laibak in Islamabad.
Provincial Education Minister Rana Mashood in his statement said that provincial government has decided to close the educational institutions due to worsen situation of law and order.
“The peoples are facing great inconvenience due to protest sit in by the religious parties. Parents, students and even government employees were facing great difficulty owing to blockage of roads and cannot reach to their destinations and workplaces easily”, he added.
Rana Mashood said that decision to close the educational institutions of the city was made to ensure the security the citizens.
