ISLAMABAD: The daughter of senior journalist Qurban Satti has died at the age of 27 due to cardiac arrest on Saturday after prolonged illness. She was facing sever kidney’s problems and taking treatment. Her funeral prayer was held at G-8 football ground in Islamabad and attended by former President of Pakistan Federal Union of Journalists Afzal butt, President National Press Club Shakil Anjum, General Secretary RIUJ Bilal Dar, Chief Editor Parliament Times Javed Iqbal, senior journalists Ijaz Abbasi, Amir Mehboob,Sardar Hamid, large number of journalists, political and social personalities , civil society activists and people from different walks of life. They expressed solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for the departed soul.
