Jammu: In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Peoples Movement (JKPM) has said that the communal elements backed by the puppet regime are doing everything to create rift among the people of different regions and religions but they would never succeed in their nefarious designs.
The JKPM Chairman Mir Shahid Saleem addressing a civil society meeting in Rajouri said people of Pirpanchal and Chenab valley have always been part and parcel of the Kashmir’s narrative of resistance.
Apart from the activists and office-bearers of the JKPM, the meeting was also attended by several prominent intellectual writers, social and political activists. The participants, who included office-bearers of the JKPM from Chenab Valley, said that they could feel the pain and suffering of the people of Valley who are being subjected to the worst kind of state terrorism.
They said that the hearts of the people living on this side of the Pirpanchal throb with their brothers in the Valley. They reiterated unflinching support and commitment to the Kashmir cause and said that ongoing political struggle in Kashmir would be taken to its logical conclusion.
Prominent among those who spoke on the occasion were Ameer Muhammad Shamsi, Abdul Rashid Fida, Bashir Ahmed Mir, Abdul Hamid Khan, Abdul Salam Bahar, Abdul Rashid Thouker, Muhammad Rafiq Khan, Basharat Hussain Khan, Molvi Muhammad Sharief, Chowdhary Abdul Rashid, Chowdahry Noor Hussain and Talib Husasin.
