Srinagar: In occupied Kashmir, the students of Degree College Shopian, today, boycotted the classes to protest against the killing of young student Aadil Farooq Magray at the hands Indian forces, last week.
The students amid massive sloganeering started tried to come out of the college premises for a march, but police and paramilitary forces resorted to massive teargas shelling on the protesting students. The students resisted and pelted stones on the forces’ personnel.
One girl student was fainted due to shelling.
The colleges and universities of Kashmir valley reopened after many days in Kashmir. Authorities had suspended class work in the higher educational institutions fearing protests after Aadil’s killing.
