Srinagar: All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC) has strongly condemned the continued house detention of its Chairman, Syed Ali Gilani.
According to KMS the APHC spokesman in a statement issued here said that Syed Ali Gilani continued to remain under house arrest for the last over seven years. He said that the octogenarian leaders was once again barred him from offering Friday prayers.
The spokesman said that the APHC Executive Council’s meeting, which was scheduled to be held on Saturday and would be held today (Sunday) at Hyderpora in Srinagar.
Meanwhile, Syed Ali Gilani expressed deep grief over the demise of noted intellectual Saifuddin Saifi (Sopori) and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
