Mirpur AJK: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Farooq Haider Khan on Wednesday inspected the project of under construction road at Dhan Gali.
Talking on the occasion the Prime Minister issued directives to department of Works for maintaining quality of work while the construction of 20 kilometers Dhan Gali to Plaque road and complete the project within its time frame. The Prime Minister asked for widening and beautification of Dadyal city road as well.
The Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider was briefed by the SE roads that Rs.296.365 millions have been allocated for the project and it would be completed with in the time period of three years. He told that 8 kilometers road with hard shoulders has been completed in April and Rs.71.121 millions have been spent so far on this ongoing project.
AJK Food minister Syed Shaukat Shah,member Assembly Ch Khalid Masood and ex-candidate for member of Legislative Assembly Raja Ali Zaman were also present on the occasion.
Meanwhile addressing a reception gathering hosted by member Assembly Ch Khalid Masood the Prime Minister said that revamping and reorganization of the Accountability Bureau was in process and such system would be placed in that no body could raise fingers on it. He said those people who looted the resources of the state should start counting the time to face the consequences.
He said that Pakistan Muslim League N in AJK was renewal of a pledge that was made with the Quaid e Azam in 1940 by Kashmiris. “It was really difficult to carry on political journey with the people who believed in the ideology of Sheikh Abdullah”, he added.
He said that it was the result of the hardworking and commitment of the workers of PML N and association of people with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif that they posed full confidence on PMLN during the general elections in 2016. He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had expressed his confidence on the performance of the AJK government and he would visit Muzaffarabad in the holy month of Ramzan and would address the public gathering. He reminded the people that the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had announced the construction of dual carriageway from Dadyal to Islamabad and provision of air ambulance service for AJK. Khan said Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Kashmir during her tenure, allocated only Rs.25.50 millions for development in each constituency while PMLN government during 10 months of its tenure had given Rs.42.50 millions for each constituency.
He said the revenue record of Tehsil Dadyal would be computerized.
The Prime Minister also condemned the Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir and said that for highlighting the atrocities at international forum we needed a stable political government in Islamabad. He said a stable and economically sound Pakistan can provide better support to the just cause of Kashmiris. He predicted that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif would be elected fourth time as the Prime Minister of Pakistan in general elections of 2018 in Pakistan.
