Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Information Minister Azad Kashmir Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas has appealed to international community to take notice of Indian unprovoked firing at Line of Control.
In a statement issued from Islamabad today, he urged peace loving countries of the world to exert pressure on India to respect ceasefire agreement.
Condemning the Indian Army’s ceasefire violations, he said that India could not divert the attention of international community from deteriorating human rights situation in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The Minister directed the concerned authorities to provide all possible help and medical assistance to the affectees of Indian shelling at LOC.
The minister said that civil population residing along the Line of Control is living under constant threat and fear adding that Indian aggressive attitude toward the people both at Line of Control and in occupied territory is jeopardizing the peace and stability in South Asian region with every passing day.
He directed the concerned departments to provide all possible health facilities to the people wounded by Indian firing at LoC. The Information Minister also paid glowing tributes to the pro freedom leadership of Occupied Kashmir including Syed Ali Shah Gilani, Mir Waiz Umar Farooq, Yasin Malik and Musarat Alam for their steadfastness on Kashmir issue and the people living along the Line of Control for braving Indian shelling with courage and determination.
