AJK govt addresses basic development issues of state: Masood Khan

Islamabad: (Parliament Times) AJK President Sardar Muhammad Masood Khan has said government team headed by Prime Minister Raja Faroooq Haider Khan has made a comprehensive plan for uplift of neglected areas, improvement and carpeting of roads, provision of health facilities and safe drinking water in the state. He was talking to a delegation headed by Moulana Muhammad Saeed Yousaf from Mang Division. The head of the delegation Moulana Saeed Yousaf told the president that Mang Campus of Poonch University where 250 students have been enrolled is reportedly being shifted to Rawalakot. The campus, he said was named after Shaeed Sabaz Ali and Mali Khan is connected with the history of our forefathers must not be closed are shifted out of Mang and suggested that more department should be open in the campus. He told the president that a piece of land measuring 150 Kanals has already been awarded for the construction of campus. The delegation also brought in the notice of President about dilapidated conditions of the roads in the area and demanded a complete university in Palandari and removal of discrepancy in the salaries of Qazizs and Judges. The President assured the delegation that he will consult the Vice Chancellor of Poonch University and will discussed the issue of Mang Campus. He also assured to bring the issues of roads and hospitals in the notice of concerned ministries. The President further told the delegation that Muzaffarabad-Merpur Motorway will passed through the Mang and urged the members of the delegation to point out the roads that could be linked with the motorway.
