Karachi: Three dacoits have been killed and two suspects arrested in different police operations in Super Highway, Malir and Landhi areas.
According to police officials at midnight between Tuesday-Wednesday on Superhighway, Janjal Goth, Jungle Road bandits on bikes were fleeing following looting.
Meanwhile police mobile reached the site. On warning to stop the dacoits resorted to firing. In the retaliatory firing two dacoits were killed. Police took the dead bodies into possession and collected evidence from the spot. The dead bodies have been shifted to hospitals for legal action.
Police said they have recovered arms, motorcycle and looted goods from them.
According to SSP Malir Rao Anwar said one of the accused is known as Ziarat Gul.
On the other hand in a separate police operation in Landhi 89 in an alleged encounter accused was critically injured who was shifted to hospital for treatment where the accused Kamran succumbed to his injuries. Police recovered from his arms and motorcycle.
In a separate operation on National Highway police nabbed Nadeem alias Peter. Arms and bomb were recovered from him.
In Mohammad Goth police in a raid arrested drug peddler Mohammad Khurshid recovering from him bottles of liquor and cash.
